• Invited to the NFA convention at Anaheim (California)
  After a succesful performance at the NFA convention last summer in  New York,  Peter Verhoyen  is invited again for the annual  flute convention. This year the convention will be held  from august the 12th. until the 15th.  in Anaheim (California). The National Flute Association (USA) asked Peter to play three concerts  !
  ° August the 12th. Peter will be heard as a  soloist with the 'Calfifornia State University Fullerton Wind Symphony' in 'Piccolo Picante' by Derek Bourgeois.
  ° Together with pianist Stefan De Schepper Peter  will perform a piccolo recital with music by D.Milhaud, Fr.Poulenc en R.Beaser (August the 13th.)
  ° A brand new composition 'Illuminations' for two piccolo's and piano by the Flemish composer  Lucien Posman  will be performed during the final concert (August the 15th.)
  Meanwhile Peter's former student Anke Lauwers (Master Piccolo 2009) awarded a place at the semi-final of the Young Artist Competiton Piccolo, one of the flute competitons organised during the  flute convention. August the 14th. Anke will play her competition.

• Peter Verhoyen as a Soloist with the Royal Band 'De Eendracht'
  Saturday the 6th of march Peter Verhoyen was the special guest during the annual concert of the Royal Band 'De Eendracht'  from Aalbeke. During this concert Peter performed several highlights for piccolo and band by composers as Cécile Chaminade, Eugène Damaré and Fr.G.Charossin. Click here for a video clip.

• To be released : new cd with Robert Groslot's Flute Concerto 'Chanson d'Automne' 
  
   In the beginning of February the musicians of the ensemble Arco Baleno completed the realisation of their new cd, with music by Robert Groslot. Beside  ... from swerve of shore te bend of bay ... and Una Processione Notturna - two compositions especially written for Arco Baleno - you'll find some interesting songs for soprano, flute, oboe, strings, harp and synthesizer. Soloist is the Flemish soprano Diane Verdoodt. Bodede Moke  (from Black Venus) is a solo piece for piccolo that has been performed by Peter Verhoyen. Peter is also the soloist in the brand new virtuoso Flute Concerto Chanson d'Automne.

• Piccolo lessons on the internet
  From 2010 Peter offers private piccolo lessons on the internet. Lessons are in English, Dutch or french. You only need webcam, microphone and a SKYPE subscription.
